ARE YOU AVAILABLE TO PET/HOUSE SIT OUTSIDE OF THE GREATER VICTORIA AREA?
Yes & No. With the price of gas these days any location that is outside of a 15 km radius of the V8Z 4B9 postal code area, will have an additional charge of $0.61/km x 2 per weekday, this is to account for driving to and from work. For example, If your postal code is 21 km's from V8Z 4B9, you would be 6 km's outside of the 15 km radius. Thus, an extra charge of $7.32/weekday will be required.
Please inquire if you are located more than 30 minutes from the V8Z 4B9 postal code area.
WHAT IS OUR INITIAL MEETING LIKE?
We like to start with an initial, 10 - 15 minute, video meet & greet so that we can get to know one another. If video is not doable then an in person meet & greet will be arranged.
During this meeting, information regarding your requested dates & times, location of your home, and basic information regarding your pet will be collected. We will also discuss pricing and policies.
If we both feel like we are a match, an in person meet & greet, at your home with your pet (s), will be arranged. Baring all goes well, your booking will be confirmed to our calendar.
We feel that is it important that both you & your pet feels comfortable and vice versa.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE INITIAL MEET & GREET?
After the initial video chat, I will follow up with you two days later (this way we both have time to decide if we are a good fit).
If you wish to proceed, we will then schedule an in person 30 - 60 minute meet & greet, at your home with your pet.
If all goes well, your booking will be confirmed and arrangements will be made to collect house keys, security codes, and all other necessary information that is detailed on our Pet Sitting Form.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE MEET & GREET WITH OUR PET?
This meeting is a way for your pet and I to get to know one another. It is important that your pet and I feel comfortable with each other so that our possible time together with be enjoyable.
DO YOU HAVE PET FIRST AID CERTIFICATION?
Not at this time.
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE ADMINISTERING MEDICATION?
With dogs, yes. I have given medication via oral and injections.
With cats, no but I can learn.
MY PET NEEDS TO GO TO THE VET. WILL YOU TAKE THEM?
If this is necessary while you are away then this can be arranged. However, this must be discussed during the first meet & greet.
DO YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH RARE OR EXOTIC PETS?
Not at this time.
CAN YOU LET MY PET OUT OR TAKE IT FOR A WALK DURING THE DAY ON WEEKDAYS?
No. Unfortunately this is not possible during a weekday. Like many of you, I have a full time job Monday - Friday thus, I am unable to leave mid day to return to your home to tend to your pet.
DO I NEED TO PROVIDE FOOD FOR YOU?
Absolutely not! I will bring my own food with me.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
Full payment in cash or via e-Transfer is due on day one of the job.

DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
Not generally, however we know that finances can be tight for some people.
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to hire a pet/house sitter no matter their financial situation. We are happy to discuss this on a case by case basis.
IF I REFER YOUR SERVICES DO I GET A DISCOUNT?
If you refer us and we get a job from it, we will give you a 10% discount on your next booking.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change your booking prior to the start date.
With summer months being quite busy, we want to ensure that our openings are available to someone else.
Should you need to shorten your time booked after the job has started, you will be refunded 50% of the total job.
